Hamish Mackenzie

Hamish Mackenzie is the Founding Director of Digital Resilience UK, an agency that supports the progression of education via the effective use of technology.

Prior to running DR UK, Hamish was a teacher and educational leader, specialising in digital learning within the UK education sector. He has experience in state, independent and special education and has worked across educational phases from primary through to university level.  As a Lead Practitioner teacher, Hamish focused on improving learning experiences for young people, increasing the efficiency of school systems and reducing teacher workload. Central to his approach is keeping the learner experience central in technology decisions. Hamish is recognised as an Apple Distinguished Educator, Microsoft Innovative Education Expert and Google Certified Educator. Increasingly, his work has been applied to the medical sectors working with NHS trusts, med-tech, robotics and medical device companies.
