Consultant Laparoscopic Surgeon in Colchester, Essex and London

Professor Tan Arulampalam is an award-winning consultant laparoscopic surgeon committed to teaching based in Colchester, Essex and London, with a special interest in colorectal surgery. Currently, he runs numerous surgical and laparoscopic skills courses and has developed a masters programme in minimally invasive and robotic surgery.

 

His current interest is the use of artificial intelligence in surgery, patient safety and human factors and how we train the surgeon of the future. He is on the research committee of the European Association of Endoscopic Surgeons and a member of the council of the ALSGBI.
